First day in Madrid

Wow, What a day! My mom and I arrived in Madrid at 11:30 in the morning only to find that all 4 of our suitcases were lost :( we filed a claim and hopefully they will appear in the morning.  I checked into my dorm, went shopping for a few necessities and then took a nap.  Hopefully tomorrow will be more successful. we are planing to go shopping and hopefully we will get our suitcases back!
